Sherando Lake & Raven’s Roost Engagement Lindsay and Josh

Lindsay and Josh made the drive from Leesburg for their engagement session! We had to reschedule once because of this spring rain. Thankfully the day they drove in for the session was gorgeous! We started the session at Sherando Lake, and ended with some beautiful sunset shots at Raven’s Roost. One of my favorite locations! I love the mountain views. Lindsay and Josh are both geologists that love the outdoors, so their session was perfect for them! I photographed this session almost entirely with my 70-200mm lens. That has quickly become one of my favorites for a beautiful creamy background with a sharp focus. I loved Lindsay’s colorful dresses that she chose for the session. So excited to see this couple on their wedding day in September!
