JMU Engagement Session with Sarah and Drake

If this couple looks this good for their engagement session, I can hardly wait for their July wedding next year when they are all dressed up! Sarah and Drake met during their time at JMU, so it was only fitting that we took their engagement photos there. Wow, there are so many great locations for pictures at JMU! The JMU arboretum was lovely this time of year, and we ventured to campus where we managed to find some good spots in the middle of a class break.

For a lot of couples it’s easy to be a little nervous at first for engagement photos, because being in front of the camera isn’t the most natural feeling. I promise you after the first 20 minutes or so of your session, you will start to feel much more comfortable, and even have a little fun! I always give my clients lots of direction on posing and what to do, to minimize any awkwardness. This couple didn’t have any trouble in front of my camera. I’m so happy with all of the images we captured! Their wedding is going to be fantastic.
