Downtown Staunton Engagement Session | Jessi & Majestic

Who else is ready to do their engagement session at sunrise after seeing this post!? Jessi and Majestic met me at 6:30 am to start their session in downtown Staunton. They both looked wide awake regardless of the hour! In general, the best light for engagement sessions are right at sunrise and sunset. It gives that pretty soft glowy light, and often warm light that looks so pretty in photos. 

During this session, we decided to walk up to Beverly street to get a shot with the Clock Tower in the background. It worked out because there isn’t a lot of traffic early on a Sunday in Staunton! Side note: I love it when couples are willing to walk during their engagement sessions…I always tell future brides to wear shoes that are cute, but comfortable for the session. 

After we shot in downtown Staunton we ventured out to Middlebrook to take some photos with Jessi’s handsome horse KC. It’s always nice when engagement sessions are made more personal with fur babies! I loved this session so much!
