It was a chilly, I mean a FREEZING day for this engagement session. We were taking photos in 30 degree weather! We thought it was going to at least be 40 degrees, but that didn't happen. However what did happen is that this awesome couple still managed to look comfortable, and happy during the entire session. The Red August Farm is a newer local venue in Waynesboro; that offers great views, and a beautiful rustic barn that can be converted into your reception venue. I am thrilled to be photographing Victoria and Roberto's wedding there this coming fall. We are very hopeful that it will be a little warmer! By the way, this couple owned the camouflage outfits. I don't think I've ever seen it executed this tastefully, another reason why I love this couple!
I met baby Abigail when she was 34 hours old! Visiting Martha Jefferson Hospital to see Natalie and Drew yesterday was a perfect experience. The natural window light is beautiful at Martha Jefferson, seriously it's enough to delivery there; if you want a cute Fresh 48 Session in the hospital. I am so impressed with how wonderful Natalie was doing only one day after delivery. I am thrilled for Drew and Natalie to be parents. It's been a joy to capture their baby story from the beginning.
Annie and Tyler's engagement session at the Columns at Six Penny Farm was perfectly timed for golden hour. We ventured all around the property for their session. With Annie's preparedness for her engagement session with cute props that'll be used on her Save The Date (I didn't include them because they are a surprise for her guests) I know her wedding is going to have so many well thought out elements!
Annie and Tyler have dated for a number of years, and it's clear the couple knows each other well. They are so easy going, and it's just a pleasant experience to spend time with them! I know they are excited to get married next September, and I can't wait to celebrate with them!
